I didn't like the sound of The Dice Man and it took me a while to come around to read it. The Dice House, by Paul Lucas, was originally produced by the Birmingham Theatre Company, and was inspired by Luke Rinehart's book, The Dice Man. By John Brattain December 15, 2006. I then had conversations with fellow Luther fans who mentioned The Dice Man, a 1971 book by Luke Rhinehart about a fictional character who basically lives his life on the roll of a dice. My Take: There's promise in the premise of this book. On Rollin' with Dice and Wheels the Diceman himself promises to be uncensored, filthy, raw and opinionated and not like the hundreds of other podcasts hosted by stand-up comics. I found my voice when I started blogging. I first heard of “The Dice Man” gimmick via the highly entertaining Discovery Channel travel series of the same name. I'm in a hotel room in a mountain village in Cyprus, a used copy of The Dice Man clutched in my hands, oblivious to the fading light, my family assembling for dinner downstairs. Tanned, rested and ready this is old-school Dice, energized and loaded for bear. I read the book many years In my case, the DICE MAN for some reason caught on in the late 90s and has been going gangbusters ever since. Apparently he took this a little bit too far. Joe Vitale discovered a signed copy Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich and a first edition signed copy of The Dice Man while book hunting in UJtah. I also felt uncomfortable reading it and I so disagreed with it that I wanted to stop reading but I couldn't. It's hardly a secret that I'm a fan of the Diceman, but you gotta admit that the last few Woody Allen titles are a little too #firstworldproblem for anyone who's not sniffing NPR's bunghole all day. Well rumors, like Daisuke Matsuzaka at the time of this writing, are flying that it's a done deal. In DICEWORLD, you say that you found your voice when you wrote the book, and I can tell that it was written with enthusiasm. Andrew Dice Clay has jumped from the Strip to the Hard Rock Hotel.
